Fullstack Web Developer

I'm Ernie Jeash, 27, a fullstack web developer. What I love most about this work is owning the whole arc of an idea: the first sketch of an interface, the logic that makes it real, the quiet moment it goes live. I'm drawn to the problems that don't give up easily, the ones that ask you to sit with them. And I've never lost the habit of the beginner, always reaching for the next tool, the next framework, the next thing I don't yet know how to do.

Beyond Work

Away from the keyboard, I keep a few quieter obsessions. I've put down DOTA 2 after years of it asking for whole evenings, and these days I get the same competitive itch from Mobile Legends, which is kind enough to give my nights back.

I read, too, mostly manhwa and light novels. Lately I've been living inside Damn Reincarnation and The Return of the Iron-blood Sword Hound, the kind of stories that make a long night feel short.

The rest of my downtime goes to films and music. Right now I keep coming back to Redbone by Childish Gambino, the sort of song that follows you around for weeks.

This year, I'm finally making room to travel and let a few unfamiliar places surprise me.

Education

Between June 2015 and May 2019, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Leyte Normal University, where I studied as a scholar of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). The scholarship meant more than tuition; it was someone betting on me before I'd proven much, and that trust gave the work its weight. Four years of fundamentals and late nights over real code still quietly shape how I build today.
